Open to all members of the NABT family, this interactive webinar in our Teaching to Lead Seminar Series will explore how science educators and students can serve as powerful agents of change through effective science communication.


Participants will engage with two ABT journal articles:


  • “Combatting Misinformation through Science Communication Training”
     Jennifer L. Osterhage & Katherine Rogers-Carpenter
    
    
  • “Evaluating the Impact of Communicating Science with Scientific Rigor”
     Natalia González-Benítez, Javier Palomino, & Sonia Valle de Frutos
    
    

The session will include brief article overviews, breakout room discussions (one per article), and collaborative takeaways you can implement in your own teaching and leadership practice.
